Tilda Coleman

My work is inspired by nature. The sun, the countryside, the colours, textures and shapes. I love abstract work, and often portray this in my hills, water, etc. I often paint what I see around me.

Andy Hill

Today Andy paints colourful abstract compositions in acrylics using a wide variety of techniques and surface qualities developed over the years. Deep watercolour-like stains of intense fluid colour, soaked into the canvas, contrast dramatically with thickly applied areas incorporating a special mix of self-levelling and texture mediums.

Corina Stupu Thomas

Having grown up under a harsh communist regime, where there were rules for everything, and everything was grey, art released in me a strong need to break free, to avoid conforming to anyone else’s way of doing things, to brighten my life with vivid colours. I don’t focus on a few themes I just paint what comes into my head. I don’t sketch, I just start with a line or a colour or a shape and let the rest emerge when I begin to see a story. Breaking free is now a journey for me, it is not an end in itself. www.corinastuputhomas.artweb.com

Josie Tipler

Following a road trip in Eastern USA, I have painted a series of canvases inspired by our time in the Appalachian mountains.

Jill Church

Jill will be showing a series of bold and bright acrylic paintings of trees alongside her delicate collection of framed embroideries – painting with silk.

Robert Williams

Went to Art School in London. Worked in Graphic Art during the 60’s and in 1973 opened a studio / shop in Eastbourne selling his own work and picture frames. After 32 years in 2005 he retired from the business and moved to SW France close to the Pyrenees. He continued to paint being much influenced by the intense light and the beautiful scenery.

Ian Dowding

I have no formal art training so my style is only influenced by what I see. I am inspired by natural forms and detail as much as scene and landscape.
